Getting Arcla onto your Mac or PC, and what it needs to run.

What you need to run Arcla. A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 13 or newer, or a PC running Windows 10 or Windows 11. The first time you record, macOS will ask you to allow microphone and screen recording. macOS permissions walks through it.

Where to download the app. Sign in at dash.arcla.com. Your dashboard links the latest build, and if a teammate invited you, the invite flow ends with a download step.

Does Arcla run on Windows? Yes. Arcla runs on PCs with Windows 10 or Windows 11. The Windows app is signed, and you download it from your dashboard the same way as the Mac app.

Supported browsers. The dashboard and this website work in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari: Chrome or Edge 111 or newer, Firefox 128 or newer, and Safari 16.4 or newer. Older browsers will show a notice asking you to update. The desktop app doesn’t use your browser at all, so it works whichever browser you have.

Does Arcla run on Intel Macs? No. Arcla is built on capture technology that requires Apple Silicon, so Intel Macs aren’t supported.

How updates work. Arcla updates itself: when a new version is ready you’ll see a banner in the app, and installing takes a quick restart. If the same update keeps coming back, quit Arcla fully and install a fresh copy from your dashboard. Your calls and settings are preserved.
